Asphalt Overlay

An Asphalt Overlay is the installation of an Asphalt Surface Course over an existing pad.  This option is considered only where the existing cracks are minor and there is not structural instability.  Surface coatings are installed on the new asphalt in the same way as on a new asphalt installation.   It is recommended that courts be resurfaced every 5 years to help maintain the integrity of the surface.
